Walking - April 19, 2008
Ok, I'm slacking a bit. I didn't get a chance to walk on Friday or Sunday but I did walk 3 miles Saturday in the blistering heat. Someone should really think of planting trees along the calcium trail. There is 100% no shade on any of it. Anybody who wants a nice paved and shaded trail with beautiful views of the river head over to the black river trail. You can access it from either Rt. 3N right after the bridge heading towards the village or Black River from Watertown or Huntington Street, right from Rt. 3N right before the bridge by the water treatment plant and then just follow the road until you see the signs.
